Here at Unity Skagit Valley, we are a spiritual community of like-minded members embracing diversity and inclusivity and celebrating the divine in everyone. We believe that everyone has the potential to create a meaningful and fulfilling life, and we provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their own unique spiritual paths. Whether you are new to Unity or have been on your journey for a while, we invite you to join us in creating a community that uplifts, inspires, and empowers all who seek to grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Sunday Services

Join us in person or live on Sundays at 11 am for inspiration, meditation, and music. Immerse yourself in a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for spirituality, personal growth, and connection. Our services are designed to provide space to reflect, meditate, and be inspired while learning and growing with others. Our welcoming and supportive environment is open to everyone, regardless of background or beliefs, so we invite you to come and experience the transformative power of our spiritual services.

Youth Services

At Unity Skagit Valley, we offer a variety of classes and special events designed to inspire and support you on your spiritual journey. A Brief History

A look at Unity Skagit Valley through the years.

1999

Welcome to Unity Church of Today

Unity Church of Today was established by Rev. Roy Ayers and Rev. Julie Montague as a study group in Mount Vernon. The services were held in a meeting room at the Best Western Motel.

2000

We're moving

Unity Church of Today moves into its current building in Mount Vernon, joined by Rev. McCail Smith as an associate minister.

2003

We're official!

Unity Church of Today is officially registered with the State of Washington and formally recognized by Unity Worldwide Ministries.

2004

We're growing up

We take a leap and purchase our building and create a permanent home for our community.

2010

Unity Skagit Valley
is born

Our name is changed to better reflect our commitment and connection to our spiritual and local community.

2010 - 2013

Ch-Ch-Changes...

Without a full time minister, we become a speakers church, welcoming new voices to our ministry.

2013

Rev Linda Spencer joins the team

After falling in love with Reverend Linda as a recurring guest speaker, she officially accepts the role of spiritual leader of our great community!

2013 - 2016

Renovations, oh my

Our space is renovated to bring in new energy and create positive space for our community.

2020

Streaming live!

With the advent of COVID-19 and mandatory closures we officially launch our live, streaming Sunday services.

2021

Starting anew

In the wake of COVID-19 we reopen our building and rejoin our community, gratefully to connect with people again.

2022

Youth Program reopens

Our youth program returns, bringing with it great kids and great smiles.
